I recently retired from a long career in public policy development and contract management. As an avid gardener and nature lover, I am enthusiastic about the concept and promise of legacy parks & trails for sustainable nature-based ecosystems management.

Our impressive state park and trail systems represent an opportunity for all Minnesotans to develop a healthy relationship with each other while supporting all parts of nature (flora, fauna, fungi and park/trails architecture, etc.). I'm looking forward to the work of this team and others, at both the state and local levels, as we continue to think through how best to manage these precious, irreplaceable shared resources.
