To capture the experiences of several generations of Kittson County war veterans, six individuals with direct combat or combat support experience, were interviewed. The transcriptions of each first-person narrative were printed and are now part of the Kittson County Historical Society  permanent archives. Supplemental materials including photographs and additional information were used to highlight each story and to bring the reader deeper into the stories. A presentation notebook was created and a copy presented to each interviewee.

Niijii’s Minnesota Mixdown Series brings art and culture into rural communities into our listening region. Niijii invites Minnesota musicians and visual artists to share their talents and stories with different communities in our listening area. Every two months choose musician and/or visual artist from Minnesota to perform live and on the air at different towns in the listening area.

Daily language segments that are designed to teach and preserve the Ojibwe language. Segments will be directed towards beginning and intermediate levels and will focus on vocabulary and sentence formation. These segments will introduce, reinforce and maintain a pathway to revitalization, preserving and historically archiving the language as spoken on the White Earth Reservation

Koochiching County Fair has updated their performance stage to have the capacity to offer several arts performances including a barbershop quartet, a robotic puppet show, a dogsled demonstration, and an antique machinery display. In addition to offering performance art shows, the fair has installed several murals created by local children celebrating the areas local agricultural history.
