The 2011 Twin Cities Jazz Festival, a free music festival, will present 125 Minnesota jazz artists at Mears Park in Lowertown, Saint Paul. The event runs June 23-25 with 30,000 expected to attend.
The Saint Cloud Arts Commission and the Saint Cloud State University Programming Board will bookend the Granite City Days festival with arts events, including the 38th annual Lemonade Art Fair and Concert and the third annual Lake George Art in the Park.

The Stillwater Public Library added 27 standard Minnesota history titles to augment their collection in the St. Croix reference collection and in their circulating collection.
Millstream Arts Festival has been the premier juried arts festival in Central Minnesota for over 20 years. While there are numerous other craft shows and community festivals, Millstream has the unique goal of artists directly interacting with the public in a festival atmosphere.
Legacy funds support 2.5 full-time multimedia positions, along with materials and services to produce video, audio and other multimedia content for education, interpretive and exhibit programs across MNHS. This content is also used to inform the public about these MNHS programs.
The Oliver H. Kelley farm in Elk River is a National Historic Landmark where visitors experience mid-19th-century Minnesota farm life. This historic structures report provides the foundation for future maintenance and preservation of the farmhouse while continuing to provide an important level of programming and public service. The Jeffris Family Foundation has awarded a matching grant of $25,000 to the minnesota historical society to fund half of the estimated costs of a consultant to prepare the report.
