These grants are to Veteran's Memorial projects throughout the state, that were issued through a competitive process.

Each project having received and award amount of $9,900.00 each. The following is a list of cities and/or organizations that received a grant for this project:

Veterans Campground on Big Marine Lake is a family campground that provides facilities and opportunities for recreation, rest, and recovery for all military veterans who have served honorably in the Armed Forces of the United States, their families, and sponsored guests.

To add 22 rolls of microfilmed newspapers to broaden public accessibility to primary records

With the grant the Dassel Area Historical Society purchased 17 rolls of microfilm for local newspapers published in Meeker County covering Dassel.

Added 28 rolls of microfilm of the Crosby-Ironton Courier newspapers from 1991-2007 to broaden public accessibility to primary records.

WCHS purchased 70 rolls of microfilmed newspapers to expand library research resources and broaden public accessibility to primary records.

To add 17 rolls of microfilmed newspapers to broaden public accessibility to primary records

Redwood Falls Public Library added 140 rolls of microfilms of local newspapers published in Redwood County.

To add 255 rolls of microfilmed newspapers to broaden public accessibility to primary records

In order to implement its Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF) projects, the Minnesota Historical Society hired an ACHF Program Coordinator to oversee the program administration. The Society also made investments to support administration of the grants program and to fund expanded financial management and administrative functions. By carefully managing its costs, the Society has adhered to the legislative mandate that institutions not spend more than 2.5 percent on administrative expenses.
