The Children's Discovery Museum in Grand Rapids will build on recent enrollment momentum and further increase participation with its School Service Program, which takes down the economic barriers for visiting school groups. The Legacy grant will fund more educators and facilitators, curriculum development, scholarship aid, transportation assistance, art and teaching supplies, and the addition of a new exhibit to the museum.
Implement cover crops, no tillage management, forestry improvements, and prescribed grazing to improve soil health, sequester carbon, and protect drinking water within the southwestern portion of the Mississippi River-Sartell watershed, including areas immediate upsteam of the St. Cloud drinking water surface intake. This will be achieved by providing financial and technical assistance paired with targeted outreach and in combination with other CWF grant programs.
Remove concrete, fill annular space with grout, fabricate well head, paint interior piping, reinstall pump, motor and drop pipe to stop potential source of contamination from entering city wells.
Find site and develop well for city residents. Drill two test wells, supply and install well screen for two test wells, and grout, log and sample two wells.
