Soomaal House of Art (Soomaal) proposes an 8-month art residency project focused on supporting 4 contemporary Somali-American artists to create new work for a culminating exhibition. The artists will complete an 8-month long residency encompassing programs to share artists' work with the community through a group exhibition, artist talk, workshop at local schools, and webinar conversations with community members.

To provide better organization of the museum collections, allowing for greater public access to the community's historic resources.

Educate well owners and storage tank owners within the DWSMA

Repair and seal up to 5 private wells in the DWSMA

Promote local reimbursement program for private well sealing. Advertise fund availability with educational messages

Expand the existing observation well monitoring network.

Expand Minnetonka's groundwater level monitoring network

Televise well #8, document condition of casing & screen and prepare a repair report for any deficiencies.

Seal municipal well

Expand the existing groundwater level monitoring network.

Remove concrete, fill annular space with grout, fabricate well head, paint interior piping, reinstall pump, motor and drop pipe to stop potential source of contamination from entering city wells.

Train and certify 4 Master Water Stewards in Stormwater best management practices to improve water quality.

Compile water quality information to update website and to print and mail information to property owners in the DWSMA.

Prepare and mail information to owners of chemical storage and hazardous waste generator properties. Educate owners of properties and the general public about the city's Wellhead and SWP.

Replace pump & communication controls for wells and tower.

Purchase and installation of switch gear and wiring.

Seal (1) 264-foot deep lake augmentation well formerly used at Bush Lake.

Sealing of private and old municipal wells.

Seal SLP 9 unique well #206437.

Direct mailing to residents in the DWSMA. Direct mailing to owners of the potential contaminant sources. Seal unused wells.

Hire electrician to properly setup wiring and transfer switch to connect to a generator.

Public Outreach within DWSMA. ISTS Brochure and Mailing.

Extend existing well casing 18" above ground and provide an approved well cover. Replace pump with an appropriately sized pump and equipped with a VFD. Relocate pressure tank.

Contract a hydrogeologic field inventory of groundwater level collection equipment.

Update mailing addresses. Develop a memorandum. Prepare a written evaluation.

Purchase and installation set-up for a generator.

Seal 5-10 wells.
