Digitized copies were placed in the University Archives Digital Collections at Minnesota State University, Mankato and at the MN Reflections site as part of the Minnesota Digital Library.

The historical markers include information and photographs of the area, as well as specific buildings both past and present. The walking tours are designed to educate, to foster a sense of historical identity and to encourage preservation of local historic sites. Brochures of the walking tours are available to the public free of charge at local businesses.
