To increase exposure and access to arts and agricultural displays, by mounting television screens in exhibit buildings and public areas. By making fair attendees more aware of what is happening in all corners of the fair ground, McLeod County Fair plans on attracting a demographic that typically passes by the arts and agricultural exhibit buildings. Information to be broadcast includes, but is not limited to, arts demonstrations, musical performances, agricultural facts and figures, and McLeod County Fair history.
To preserve the one room schoolhouse on the fairgrounds. The Little Red Schoolhouse will need painting, window repair, and electrical upgrades. The Winona County Historical Society will help organize materials for programming and exhibiting.
Funds will also improve lighting in two art exhibit buildings.
The Little Red Schoolhouse has a long history in Kanabec County. Built in 1882 for $350, it served as the first schoolhouse for School District No. 2 before finding a home on the fairgrounds. The Little Red Schoolhouse is home to children's art displays and a variety of activities. Funds will provide a new roof, repair the ceiling, and make the necessary adaptations to make the building handicap accessible. Additionally, period costumes will be purchased and a teacher will be hired for programming.
To increase Traverse County Fair's capacity to feature arts and cultural heritage programming by erecting a stage dedicated to arts and entertainment. The stage, complete with lighting, will be home to arts, cultural performances, and educational events during the fair, and will also be used for farmer’s market during the summer.

Funds will be used to showcase a miming presentations by Theatre of Fools, a Native American dance demonstration by the Little Thunderbirds, and a comedy show by author Michael Perry, who discusses today’s small town fardmand family culture.
To expand children's arts programming at the Watonwan Count Fair by providing hands-on learning opportunities and demonstrations. The fair will also welcome Latin, Norwegian, Swedish, and German Dancers to the stage, enhance the fair’s creative arts exhibits, host a historic horse pull, and purchase a portable PA system to ensure that all cultural activities can be heard by fairgoers.

To offer a new exhibit in the fair’s conservation building on 4-H and paint a mural related to the new exhibit. The Yellow Medicine County Fair has purchased display cases for their new 4-H exhibit. The exhibit consists of 4-H items from the past and present and the mural provides a history of county fairs.
