Installation of ornamental pedestrian-scale lighting along the Ohio Street trail in Cherokee Heights Regional Park, including wiring and any other associated utility and equipment installation
Completion of the activities in the previously-funded project. The project will result in the construction of an approximately 7200 s.f. maintenance shop and administrative office, replacing an existing inadequate facility. Project activities include demolition, design, engineering, construction, construction administration and other related construction costs
In cooperation with the City of St. Paul, update the joint Master Plan for Phalen-Keller Regional Park. ?The updated master plan will identify and prioritize future capital projects for the regional park that will enhance visitor services.

Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve, complete reconstruction of campground roadways, utility improvements and campsites. (3 of 6 projects financed with grant.)
Contract with Minnesota Conservation Corps to complete native plantings, shoreline restoration, and invasive plant control. Additional crews will enhance resource preservation and restoration program, limiting invasive growth and protect vital resource areas.

Complete Winter Recreation Area development that was started with FY 2010 Parks and Trails Fund grant including: plan winter recreation area project, develop or re-develop recreation facilities to accommodate evening use, install lighting for ski trails and site, develop roads and parking lot, remodel or replace barn for use as a trailhead, and provide signage and other amenities to enhance park visitor's experience
At Bald Eagle-Otter Lakes Regional Park, complete 2 acre Nature Play Area and 1 acre Children's Garden (including garden house for multi-purpose programs) at Tamarack Nature Center that was started with the FY 2010 Parks and Trails Fund grant and other funds.
Complete important Como RP access road, Estabrook Drive, and related infrastructure, lighting, landscape restoration. Park hosts approximately 4,476,000 visits annually, representing people from many backgrounds.
Final stages of implementation of the first-in-the-nation public natural filtration swimming pool at Webber Park, which is within North Mississippi Regional Park. Work will include design, engineering, and construction of landscaping, stormwater management, grading and drainage, furniture, and signage.
Central Mississippi Riverfront Regional Park, Above the Falls Regional Park. Conduct a design competition to develop a next generation park master plan for the Minneapolis Riverfront Regional Parks at an estimated cost of $350,000. And complete initial planning and engineering documents for restoration and development of the Mill Ruins Park Headrace facilities in Central Mississippi Riverfront Regional Park at an estimated cost of $212,000. MRPB staff will be working with the Met Council staff to update this scope of service, with confirmation of the scope change in July 2011.
Contract with CCM for natural resource and maintenance management throughout the regional park system in Anoka County. Work includes conducting invasive species removals, prairie, oak savanna and forest restoration, oak wilt management, seeding, plantings, building and grounds maintenance, tree/shrub removal, debris removal, sign installation, river clean-up/obstruction removal, if needed.
The Conservation Corps provides a crew to perform natural resource management tasks throughout the regional park system. Buckthorn removal, community garden maintenance, invasive species control, and landscaping are some of the tasks performed

Theodore Wirth Regional Park, St. Anthony Parkway Regional Trail, Minnehaha Regional Park, construct loop trail around Wirth Lake, reconstruct wetland, parking, and update stormwater and buildings.
Mississippi River Regional Trail, construct 5.2 miles to connect ?Inver Grove Heights to the Pine Bend Scientific and Natural Area to lower Spring Lake Park Reserve.
Battle Creek Regional Park, construct 1-mile paved off-road bicycle and pedestrian trail on the north side of Lower Afton Road, from Pt Douglas Rd to McKnight Road. Links the regional trail system to communities including Maplewood and Woodbury.
Design and construct fishing nodes along Sucker Lake Channel, improve pedestrian connections, landscape restoration, and signage. Legacy funds will leverage non-state funds provided by the Vadnais Lake Area WMO for fishing node development and landscape restoration. Vadnais-Snail Lakes Regional Park had 746,300 visits in 2013.
