To contract with qualified professionals to prepare construction documents for the preservation of the 1867 Southern Minnesota Depot, listed in the National Register of Historic Places and used as the headquarters for the Rushford Area Historical Society.
$5,982,000 the first year and $7,000,000 the second year are for statewide historic and cultural grants to local, county, regional, or other historical or cultural organizations or for activities to preserve significant historic and cultural resources. Money must be distributed through a competitive grant process. The Minnesota Historical Society must administer the money using established grant mechanisms, with assistance from the advisory committee created under Laws 2009, chapter 172, article 4, section 2, subdivision 4, paragraph (b), item (ii).

The short-term and intermediate term expected impacts and progress indicators have been met. With the acceptance of this final report, we will be well on the way to meeting the long-term expected impact and progress indicator.
Targets were met and exceeded due to the knowledge and diligence of the architect guiding this project, a grant reviewer who understood the urgency, and volunteers helping to keep it on track.
