Expenses to attend a weekly writing workshop through the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis.
Tara Makinen: Executive Director of Itasca Orchestra and Strings, musician; Amber Burns: choreographer, dancer, actor, middle school art teacher; Tammy Mattonen: visual artists, co-founder of Crescendo Youth Orchestra; Kayla Aubid: Native American craft artist, writer, employee at MacRostie Art Center; Ariana Daniel: mixed media artist, arts instructor; Kathy Neff: musician, Director, Fine Arts Academy at the University of Minnesota-Duluth; Ron Piercy: jeweler, gallery owner; Emily Swanson: arts administrator at Oldenburg Arts and Cultural Community.

1. To give me the impetus to begin my writing project by utilizing the fifteen prompts that will be given in class (see attachment) 2. To interact and collaborate with other writers, and the instructor, giving me resources to draw from as I begin the project 3. To have eight weeks of assignments that I can specifically apply to my project 4. To meet deadlines by attending a weekly class 5. To have evidence of my intent to embark on this project for future grant applications to ARAC. By attending all eight sessions and completing all the assignments, collecting a body of work for on-going references.
