Small Capital Arts Grant for Nonprofits

The outcomes that will be achieved by these purchases include: Computer, software, monitors: Centralized record-keeping, presentations and workshops for artists and the public. Bullhorn: Dissemination of announcements and information at large events such as the Celebration of the Arts. Microphones/PA Mic System: Sound systems for our music events. Art Display System: Display of photography and art at our events as well as exhibits at local businesses (Credit Unions/Banks etc).We will measure our outcomes of these purchases by talking with community members who attend our events, asking them to comment about how these purchases and related technology impacted their experience. We will also make and document observations of participants as they are exposed to these purchases. In addition to the above, Avon Area Arts will request membership to respond to an online Zoomerang Survey that will survey their feelings about the improved communication and presentation materials. We will ask members to provide comments about the current items, and make suggestions for future acquisitions. We will also develop a checkout system for each of the items that will document the frequency of use to determine if there is an unmet need that is obvious. Data from the previous sources will be reviewed at the annual meeting as a means of sharing with membership.
