The program is offered for free to all students at Winona Senior High School who wish to participate. A similar summer program costs $450. Students who participate will learn more about acting in general and working with Shakespeare's texts. Through interviews with students, the number of participants who cannot take part in the summer program will be tracked. Students will complete a pre- and post-questionnaire regarding their knowledge and experience.
Of the twelve students who participated in the after-school program, one-third said they cannot afford the summer program because they have to work.
