Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Nisswa third graders will have the opportunity to learn the entire process of putting on a theater production, from audition to performance, in the course of a week. Nisswa third graders will be given the chance to express themselves artistically through acting, costume, and make-up. The other children at Nisswa School will be provided the opportunity to view the live performance at the end of the week. Parents, families, and community members are invited to view the performance. Classroom and Specials Teachers (Music and Physical Education), will be asked survey questions regarding the goals of the project.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Successful arts education project. Majority of students showed an increase in artistic awareness, skill, and understanding.
