Project Details
This project will feature vocal music specialist Michael Kellogg who will work with students in grades 7-12 to enhance their choral musical skills culminating in two concerts, one with the USA Community Chorus on Veterans Day and the other in the spring of 2014, both open to the public.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

20 students (15%) of the Swanville student body in grades 7-12 will receive 35 hours of choral music training with Michael Kellogg from 9/3/13 to 6/6/14. By 6/6/2014 100% will report that they have improved breath support, diction, and a more accurate ear while singing. 100% of the participants will feel more confident in their singing ability and will participate in music competitions.Student evaluations, teacher evaluations, recording results of participants at music competitions.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Successful arts education project. Majority of students showed an increase in artistic awareness, skill, and understanding.
