Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

To summarize; three goals of this project: 1. Establish new relationships between scientists, natural resource professionals, artists, and the public. 2. Enable new perspectives among the mentioned groups that inspire their work 3. Grow the relationship between the mentioned groups and their environment. Evaluating the success of this project will provide certain challenges. Relationships are difficult to measure, but we will approach this by using a combination of measurable outcomes and conversations during and after the project. Please see the supplemental materials for the full rubric we have put together to determine if the project met expectations. One item is listed as an example. 1) Relationships were established between artists and natural resource professionals Exceeds expectations - Artist and resource specialist voluntarily spend more than one day in the field or more than one follow-up day together. Artist meaningfully connects with more than one resource specialist Meets expectations - Artist spends one day in the field with one resource specialist. Specialist meets with artist once outside of field day. Below expectations - Artist and specialist fail to meet either in the field or at the MRC to engage in artists work.
