Our overarching goal is to bring folks together and build community around local music and local food. Just as our farmer/crafter vendors at the farmers market reflect our local growing environment with their products, IROMA's local musicians reflect the Iron Range with their original music. Both contribute to community resilience that is uniquely based on an appreciation for the local and the original. Our measurable outcomes are: Provide 15 concerts, 2 hours each during the farmers market hours at the new performance venue on June 22, 29, July 6,13,20,27, August 3,10,24,31, September 14,21,28 and October 5, 2023. Achieve concert attendance of 50 by mid-summer and maintain audience numbers through October 5. Collect feedback from 25% of each audience by paper survey and broader feedback via social media. We will, of course, count attendees and chart growth. We will tally paper surveys and Facebook Event comments into a report to be assessed by the Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability Board. And we'll take note of the intangible--that sense of community that is palpable at a rural community arts event.
