Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

We are trying to continue the tradition of providing excellent local musical entertainment for the annual Hovland Arts Festival. The main measurable outcomes are that we successfully provide musical entertainment and don't allow our most loyal musicians to disappear or to donate their time. If we receive a 75% favorable or highly favorable review of the importance of musical entertainment, we will consider this effort a great success. The Hovland Arts Festival is always wonderful, but if we have a fully booked music area full of happy people all day for two days next year, we will be as successful as we hope to be. In order to provide some quantification, we will conduct a survey during the event to determine how important music is to Festival attendees, whether the musicians that performed were appreciated, and suggestions for further fundraising or other musical acts. As stated above, we expect at least a 75% favorable response, and hope for much higher from the comments we get every year. Our entire community has a long tradition of spending the weekend closest to 4th of July in the Town Hall Parking lot, chatting with their neighbors, enjoying a Trinity brat and a Bockovich lemonade, buying beautiful art from their friends, meeting newcomers and visitors, and tapping their foot to Jim McGowan or singing along with Fish Heads. We intend to keep that going as best we can.
