Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

This proposed project is an attempt to continue the tradition of providing excellent local musical entertainment for the annual Hovland Arts Festival. The main measurable outcomes are that we successfully provide musical entertainment, receive highly favorable feedback, and stay on budget. The Hovland Arts Festival will always be a wonderful weekend, but a weekend full of music and laughter will assure it is a success for everyone. We conduct an informal survey every year of people leaving the festival, and query our vendors after the festival, and will do so again in 2024 as a check on whether we can consider the festival a success. Our entire community has a long tradition of spending the weekend closest to the 4th of July in the Town Hall parking lot, chatting with their neighbors, enjoying a Trinity Church bratwurst and a Bockovich lemonade, buying beautiful art from their friends, meeting newcomers and visitors, and tapping their foot to Jim McGowan or Bump Blomberg, and we intend to continue that tradition as best we can.
