Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

One goal is to offer attendees a sense of community by sharing their enjoyment, or disappointment, with people they know and people they have come to know while attending the concert. A second goal is to give the community a sense of ownership, something they can share with family, friends, or acquaintances. A final goal is to encourage cultural growth and appreciation for those in attendance. Hopefully, people will leave the lake park with a new appreciation for music they may not have known. In turn, hopefully, it encourages support and appreciation for WAC's mission. We will measure our success through surveys and planned conversations with those who attended the concerts. We hope to get honest opinions on the relevancy, affordability, and inclusionary aspects of our programming. The number of attendees at events is important data; however, numbers in attendance alone don't show critical information about who our programming is reaching. Staying true to our mission, our success depends on reaching all community members, especially those underserved, such as teens and the elderly.
