Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

We plan for the project to result in an ADA Access Plan, demographic research and analysis to help identify and document the underserved populations in our community, a systematic and integrated marketing plan, and a contact management system for volunteers, consumers, members, and other community partners. Systematic and repeatable processes will allow the board to emphasize strategy over tactics, leading to better long-term health of the organization. Intentional access planning will improve the Winsted Arts Council's capacity to serve those who experience barriers to programs and events. Improved marketing and contact management processes and procedures will increase awareness and promote engagement. The consultant/intern will gain skills and experience that can be applied in a variety of work settings. Weekly work plans for each goal category along with mid-term and end-of-term evaluations will mark progress toward project goals.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Bookkeeping tasks were simplified and streamlined easing the burden of our volunteer treasurer. A process of submitting receipts and categorizing expenses was created allowing our bookkeeper to easily access these records without having to contact the treasurer. We are looking at how we can prepare our inventory systems to offer the same automation and access in the future as we grow. As hoped, more than one person can now access and print financial reports for board meetings, grant applications etc.
