ACHF Arts Access
This project will support self-growth through motivation, practice and sharing what I have learned. I will work to improve my knowledge and techniques related to encaustic work as well as gelli plate printing. I will also be able to obtain supplies to assist me in creating art using these types of mediums that I would have been unable to afford the means to do otherwise. I will be taking a risk by trying to something new, something bigger. Specific changes that I am hoping for are: excitement for a project, wanting to share the knowledge I have learned, and seeking out artists to learn from them as well as gain tips or resources from them. I plan to measure changes through before and after reflection of my skills along with art work produced. I hope to identify skill gaps along with strategies to enhance my skills. These measurable changes will be documented in a journal format that works to record my progress as well as comparing my new work with my older work. Quantitative data that will be collected include number of pieces that are completed, number of collaborations with other artists, and number of educational resources or classes explored.
