Exploring my accordion series as utilitarian pieces of artwork is incredibly exciting to me. I believe creating the paintings as "furniture, end tables" is a whole new field to explore for me. I firmly believe that galleries will also be excited to exhibit this new work. My accordion series often delight the viewer and believe this new approach to my series will amplify their viewing delight. I plan to measure this project by successfully creating the "furniture" boxes with excellent paintings that flow harmoniously from one panel to the next. I also will measure this projects success by scheduling exhibitions for the work.
