Especially in recent years, I've had to alter my final product because I do not have the proper tools to complete my vision for the sculpture. With the air compressor, I will be able to create the sculptures with the intricate details that I envision while working through my creative process. Due to trauma in my prior career, my motor function has been impaired. Air tools are a strategy that would allow me to be detailed, safer, and more efficient. If I could begin making sculptures again, I believe that would lead to a number of positive experiences, such as continued and faster healing from prior traumas. I'd be utilizing new techniques on different types of stone, and by working much faster I'd have more opportunities to create and complete sculptures. This air compressor will help make art a priority in my life again. Regarding measuring improvement: I'd definitely work to improve my skill level with my sculpture / as an Artist. Growing and moving forward is an important part of who I am. It's been the same with my art, creating / making a quality product is of the upmost importance. I would be able to see and feel where I'm at skills wise; however, I'd also utilize the feedback of several professional Artist friends who I trust (I have always done this in the past as well).
I'm still finding my way with the air tools; however, the compressor has already helped me feel more confident and competent. I also feel more useful, as though I'm actually beginning to contribute to the beauty of this world (or at least my little piece
