ACHF Arts Education
It is my intention to develop the skill that will translate into more confidence and I'll be able to see my work worthy of the title of art. I am looking for more layered depth, pleasing to the eye proportion and skillful layering of shadow and highlight. I want to develop a more rounded skill set that will allow me to grow from a simple, but accomplished crafter who is able to create works based off tutorials to an artist who is able to create more original work that display depth and character. I consistently compare my new works to my older work to gauge the use of new skills developed and to ensure they are utilized. I will know that my accomplishments are successful when I can gain the confidence to submit works into exhibitions and shows and have items accepted.
I set out to complete the class and continue to develop my artist growth, and I feel that I have done that with the help of my instructor, Mark Hufford. I no longer feel that I am incapable or unable to draw. My only regret is not doing something like thi
