With the help of this keyboard, Pit of Fashion would be to expand our song arrangements and performances to cover different genres with authenticity and accuracy. Instead of needing to rely on a larger amount of pre-recorded musical elements, we will be able to broaden our band's sonic palette organically with the keyboard's added technology. In order to measure our growth, we will be documenting and recording both our music rehearsals and performances to improve technical proficiency, build fluency, and compare our playing to earlier works.
Possibly the most important impact, is that I have a functional studio in which I can now create projects, frame works, and entertain visiting curators and interested clients and general public. The studio is an inspiration. I completed new works for shows at the Washington Pavilion Evirist Gallery, the Veronique Wantz Gallery, and the Whit Gallery. Having all this activity in one year has generated a larger audience for me. My work's shift in visual aesthetic and approach has been noted, and the posts on Instagram have garnered praise and curiosity. I've been invited to new exhibits, and I'm excited to put my feelers out for bigger projects.
