Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

We have two goals in presenting Guys and Dolls. The first goal is to provide the opportunity for at least 63 artists from the community from several artistic disciplines to participate in a musical production. Our second goal is that at least 1,000 people will purchase tickets to see the show. While selling out each performance is our ultimate goal, selling 1,000 tickets along with support from Central Minnesota Arts Board will allow us to pay all of our budgeted expenses. To measure how many artists contributed to the show, we will count all of the cast and crew names listed in the program. To measure how many audience members saw the show, we will count the number of tickets sold.

Measurable Outcome(s)

We had two goals in presenting Guys and Dolls. The first goal is to provide the opportunity for at least 63 artists from the community from several artistic disciplines to participate in a musical production. 78 artists from the community participated in bringing this musical to the stage. Our second goal was that at least 1,000 people would purchase tickets to see the show. Selling 1,000 tickets along with support from Central Minnesota Arts Board would allow us to pay all of our budgeted expenses and break even. We sold 839 tickets, but with some expenses coming in less than budgeted and an unexpected cash donation, the show still broke even. To measure how many artists contributed to the show, we counted all of the cast and crew names listed in the program. To measure how many paying audience members saw the show, we counted the number of tickets sold.
