Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Increase in the number of audience members from last year's 250 to 300 this year. Enlarge mailing list size by 10% over last year's mailing list. Increase in audience engagement by a larger amount of returning audience members. Increased awareness of modern dance in Central Minnesota by growing the number of new audience members.Box office attendants will gather and document tickets, which will verify the number of audience members and the profit. Audience members will be asked to fill out a short survey that will ask for their address to further expand our mailing list. The survey will also ask them to provide information about why they attended and what they found engaging or challenging about the show. We will be able to compare these results with past data. A copy of the survey is attached.

Measurable Outcome(s)

There were 257 people in the audience for this production, which was documented by the Paramount Theatre Box Office. Due to our request that audience members fill out an address slip that included their name, address and e-mail address, 66 new addresses were added to our mailing list for future mailings. With data collected from a short survey that was distributed to audience members, it was found that 60% of our audience was new to Minnesota Dance Ensemble and 39% of our audience had previously been to an Minnesota Dance Ensemble production - 93% stated that they were interested in attending future Minnesota Dance Ensemble productions.
