ACHF Arts Access
Members of the community will have been able to experience a show that they otherwise wouldn't have been able to. Not only does this mean the audience, but the performers as well. We are giving artists a platform to share their creativity and their music, and specifically giving platforms to those who wouldn't be able to perform many places without us (such as musicians under the age of 21 who cannot perform in bars). This is giving young creators a space to share their talent in a safe, sober, all-ages, and accessible environment. Community members will be able to come to these shows to experience something that otherwise was unavailable in the community. Young musicians will be able to learn more about playing shows as a result of these activities, and if all goes well, more shows will be planned to get even more youth in the area out and performing. More musicians will be inspired to perform since they will now have spaces to play in, and community members will have more excitement about music after seeing what incredible young talent has been hiding in Central Minnesota. ; Project 37 aims to provide a safe, sober, accessible space for community members of all-ages to be able to watch and perform live music. To ensure that Project 37 has achieved our goals and outcomes wanted, we will be implementing a survey that participants can take either during events or through email post-event. This survey will be accessed through a QR code (scanned on a phone) or can be taken on a smartphone at the event for those who may not be able to scan QR codes/don't have access to mobile smartphone technology. Otherwise, the survey will also be emailed out after the event to reach anyone who didn't take the survey previously at the event. We did run this survey after our first round of shows in 2022, but didn't get a large response to it. In this series we'll make an extra effort to encourage attendees to fill out this survey in order to help us identify what we are doing well and where we can grow. Attendees will be asked to rank various aspects of the event, such as perceived accessibility of the event, safety of the event, quality of the performers, etc. They will also be asked optional open-ended questions such as if they feel like these events are unique in St. Cloud and are giving opportunities to those who otherwise wouldn't have them. Additionally, they'll be asked if they learned anything at the event and how involved they believe the community is in the event. There will also be questions for performers only that will ask them if they felt supported at the event, if they felt that the event followed the Project 37 Mission (accessible, all-ages, sober), and what the organization could do differently to make the next event better. ; Participants in each show proposed will be taking a survey to rate various aspects of the overall performances and what can be do to improve them. We will also measure the amount of dollars raised for our nonprofits at each of the proposed shows.
Our goals were to reach more people and receive more audience and performer feedback. We used Google Forms and gathered survey responses from attendees and performers, and overall, people were very satisfied with our events. We received some feedback from
