Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Through the rehearsal preparation and performance experience, the singers will: - study and learn a recently written choral composition for performance - have learned from the mentorship from professional choristers - will have the opportunity to discuss the historical impact and evolution of the African American Spiritual. As a booster organization, we will measure the "success" of the performance through an audience survey that will be included in our concert program. In turn, students will also create a written evaluation of their performance experience. Class time will be used for group discussion as another assessment opportunity.; The outcome of this event is provide our audience and participating with a world class choral experience where singers perform shoulder to shoulder with professional choral musicians. The audience members will receive a Google Form through use of a QR code that they will be asked to complete. The audience form will be linked in our concert program, asking our patrons for feedback about their experience. The student form will assess the measurable outcomes listed above. The STMA Music Boosters will also use reports from social media and our website to measure the level of interactions from our digital advertising.; The event will be evaluated through google form by audience members, performers and choral directors who are participating in this event.
