Music of our Heart-Land will be a public folk-art musical performance. The program will focus on education, preservation and enjoyment of Polish, German and Czech music featuring regional performing artists.

ACHF Cultural Heritage
Our measurable outcomes for participants participating in this folk art program are: Arts access: at least 80% of participants will identify as older adults, rural residents and students who are under-served and have limited access to arts programming. This will be accomplished by promoting the event through to our target audience through media outlets that have demonstrated the ability to reach this audience. This includes The Enterprise Post newspaper, KASM radio, Helping Hands Outreach and posters throughout the community. Arts learning: more than 150 residents of rural northeast Stearns County will develop a clearer sense of how local ethnic folk music impacted their culture and history and how they can help preserve it. This will be accomplished by working with the performing artists to develop a program that includes audience participation in sharing stories and history of the local ethnic music and its history. Community: at least 50% of participants will share through interviews and surveys that these programs motivated them to help preserve and share their cultural heritage. This will be accomplished by conducting formal surveys and informal surveys with members of the audience. ; Eighty percent will be under served older adults and rural residents with limited access to arts programming. 150 attendees will better understand the importance of local ethnic folk music to their lives. We will interview and interact with attendees to gauge their reaction to the events. We will intentionally observe both verbal and non-verbal comments and messages of appreciation. We will take photos at the events to help observe reactions. We will track attendance by gathering the names of those who attend each event. We will conduct one-on-one surveys of a representative number of participants in the program series. These surveys will gather information on what aspects of each program they valued the most and how we can improve and expand future arts programming. We will review this information and use it to help us determine future opportunities for offering arts programming within the community.; We will interview and interact with attendees.
