Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Cast and crew will have a supportive, quality, arts experience. Audience members will have an understanding of the resilience of early settlers. Ticket prices are low with accomodations.; 1. Cast and crew will have a supportive, quality, live arts experience by being in this production. 2. Audience members will gather for a live theater experience and have an understanding of the resilience it took for early settlers to survive and thrive on the prairies. There is a direct connection to this story and the resilience of people to get through the pandemic, leaning on family and community survive during difficult times. 3. Audience members will experience increased access to the arts by having live theater in their own community. Ticket prices are purposefully kept low so that people can afford to attend the show and accommodations are available for those with special needs. An evaluation will be given to cast and crew half way through the process so issues can be addressed. We will have a QR Code in the playbill with a link to a short survey. for audiences. ; 1. Attached is a sample of a cast and crew evaluation that will be given half way through the rehearsal process so that needs and issues can be addressed before the project ends. This tool was used during our last major project, Sister Act in 2018 and was a very helpful to ensure people had a positive experience and had the support they needed in time to make adjustments. 2. and 3. We will have a QR Code in the playbill with a link to a short on-line survey that audience members can access to provide feedback about the show. We will ask specific questions about their knowledge of the history of settlers in the Midwest and how it related to resilience as well as ticket prices and accommodations for them to attend the production.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Outcomes achieved include: (1) increased access to the arts via the reduction in geographic, cultural and physical barriers; (2) a change in knowledge and attitude by students; and (3) students building connections to their own and others' cultural heritage. Evaluation methods used include: interviews/conversations with participants and board/staff/leaders; meetings with community partners; and surveying.
