In-person attendees, 650; online/VR audience all see performing artists and arts installations in reception and lobby spaces.; Our goals with TEDxStCloud 2022 are to raise awareness of the breadth of ideas and innovation in our region, educate attendees on the specific ideas, concepts, and art forms presented by our speakers and performing artists, and to give the community an opportunity and a venue to meet and engage with new people and new ideas. A secondary goal is to amplify our community's ideas beyond our community. Our biggest success so far in this regard was when TED presented Eric Sannerud's 2018 talk on their main TED.com platform, resulting in over 2.1 million views of his talk and with the transcript being available in 26 languages. Successfully present TEDxStCloud 2022 with six speakers and two performing arts segments at Paramount Theater on October 13, 2022; Every year TED (our licensor) sends out a post-event Net Promoter Score survey to our live attendees; this scoring impacts our ability to obtain a license in following years. This survey scale is -100 to +100. Our event has averaged +70.4 for 5 years, which is considered Good - Excellent. Attached is the 2021 survey.
The program was implemented in ten neighborhoods, three days a week for eight weeks, with over 275 children and youth participating - and limited programming at the YMCA and GRRL. Outcomes in strengthening emotional regulation skills, social emotional learning, thinking skills and creative processing were measured through observations and conversations led by the teaching artists.
