ACHF Arts Access
A new art form will be brought to Sauk Centre for a wide variety of people to see and participate in.; The main expected outcome is to introduce area residents to professional artists that will show and encourage all participants to create their own chalk art on site. This experience will inspire a change in knowledge, attitude about art and skill level. Area residents will learn about an unusual art form. This change may inspire a new attitude about art in that art is something that a person can practice and learn with appropriate guidance. This can also inspire individuals of all ages to learn or discover a new skill. This is a free public event, so success will partially be determined by the number of people who attended and the verbal comments made to volunteers about the Children's Area of this event. ; The evaluation will be judged by the number of audience members that come either to watch or participate in this event. It will also be evaluated by the number of amateurs and children that participate in these areas. Photos and newspaper coverage will also give us an excellent idea how this festival will be attended. This is a first-time event, so we will give the 11 professional artists a survey that will help us plan similar future events. We will also personally interview our sponsors to gather their feedback regarding their impression/satisfaction of the event.
