Ballet Folklorico Showcase Spectacular will introduce residence of central Minnesota to traditional Mexican folk dances. The group will perform dances from five different Mexican regions as well as highlight up to three Latin American dances.

ACHF Arts Education
1. 35 to 45 dancers will perform traditional Mexican and Latin Dances for an audience of 150 to 200 community members. 2. 10 new connections with other groups will provide Ballet Folklorico Rosa Quetzal with new opportunities to perform. 3. Number of participants in Zumba will increase 20%. 4. Dance members will learn 3 new traditional dances. 5. Dance group members will have their first on stage experience and this will be followed by a opportunity to attend a professional stage performance. Youth will be invited to reflect on this impacts them. A survey/invitation to connect will be given to the audience after the performance to: 1. evaluate the dancer performances 2. the impact of experiencing a different culture on the attendees 3. the interest in continued connections.
Increased number of ethnic dancers/dance styles by 100% - increased by 4 new dance styles Increased youth participants by 20% (by 5 youth) Increased number of migrant families participating by 33% (4 families) Increased public events by 60% (5 new events) and 3 more in 2023 New cross cultural community connections increased by 200% (10 new connections) 5 migrant youth connected with resources.
