Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

A Choral Community will have featured between 4 and 6 Central Minnesota ensembles, spanning multiple generations and organizations. We anticipate at least 20 singers who register and join the choirs independent of affiliation with a formal singing ensemble. Additionally, we expect at least 300 patrons to attend this concert. We will receive an overall satisfaction rate of 4.25/5 from both participants and audience members through a survey indicating success of our project. We also expect to have at least a high degree of social media engagement, including at least 2,500 people reached through posts, and at least 1,000 views of video segments from the concert.; Learning ; Community Learning: Patrons will be asked by survey which performing groups they were aware of, and which they were unaware of. They will also be asked how likely they are to attend a concert by the performing groups in the future. Community: A talking point during the concert will be the common thread that singing has had in cultures, and choral singing in communities throughout history. Patrons will be asked their singing background in the survey and if this concert increased or decreased their likelihood of participating in a singing group.
