Project Details

We would like to do a community theater Summer production of "Annie Warbucks." This production will involve children through senior citizens. It will be run in conjunction with Paynesville Community Education.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The number of people involved with this project will increase over previous Summer theater productions. We will also submit surveys to ticket purchasers following the production. This survey will welcome feedback and comments. We also hope to broaden and deepen people's appreciation of the arts in West Central Minnesota. Our community theater has a goal of fostering interaction and growth between children and adults and this production would meet that criterion.We will continue to track attendance and participation in Summer Theater from our inaugural production in 2003 to the present. Staff will meet and discuss surveys as they are returned.

Measurable Outcome(s)

We grew from 13 cast and crew last year--The Fantasticks to 51 this year. We heard wonderful comments from the audience, letter to the Paynesville Press, and surveys. Even though not everyone chose to do one following the show, the response was overwhelmi
