Project Details

This project is designed to develop the next generation of local performing ukulele artists. The one-day course will take participants from picking up the instrument to a public performance.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Project outcomes (measurable and achievable change in knowledge, attitude, skill, behavior): The class will have between 10-12 participants. At least 75% of class participants will share that the class provided them with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills associated with the ukulele. At least 50% of class participants will share that they feel empowered and motivated ton continue development as a musician as a result of the class. Evaluation plan: A pre and post written evaluation will be provided to participants. This will provide us with information and feedback to measure existing knowledge and skill and knowledge and skill gained as a result of the class. Participants will be observed during the class to gauge their involvement and enjoyment of the class. Casual conversations will be held during breaks within the class to gather feedback. Discussions will be initiated on the Central Minnesota Ukulele Club Facebook Group to gather further feedback. .; Access ; Learning Evaluation plan: A pre and post written evaluation will be provided to participants.
