The Wirth Center offers Discounted Lessons for low-income Students in an effort to increase performing arts education access to low-income families. The discounts are based entirely on financial need, not musical skill or experience.

ACHF Arts Access ACHF Arts Education
Low income families receive assistance for performing arts education, helping at least 30 students. Minnesota artists are paid a livable wage to teach others their art form. Application materials confirm low-income families were assisted. Feedback measures the experiences of the students, such as if music was important to them, if they learned music that they felt connected to, and if live performances helped them grow.
