Partners for Clean Water - Douglas County Phase 2
This project will reduce the amount of sediment (225 tons per year) and phosphorus (250 pounds per year) being exported from the targeted stretch of the Crow River by constructing grade stabilization structures and water and sediment control basins at the headward eroding tops of these gullies.
This project resulted in an estimated annual reduction of 14 lbs of phosphorus and 19 tons of sediment.
