Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Partnerships are developed between social service organizations and arts organizations to better serve underserved communities. More Minnesotans are able to participate in the arts. Social or human service organizations use arts to help achieve their service goals. Perceived or real barriers to participation are addressed.

Measurable Outcome(s)

This program was helpful in dismantling the economic, social, and isolation barriers that face people living with abject poverty by giving them the opportunity to participate in "making art" and "consuming art" in a supportive environment. Homeless women and their children had the opportunity to spend quality time with each other while learning new skills and exploring their creative side. The performances offered an emotional release that wasn't about the tragedy in their own lives and helped them interact
