Project Details

Merrick, Inc. will work with Upstream Arts to empower adults with disabilities to explore positive self-expression through a variety of artistic disciplines including visual art, theater, poetry, music, and dance.

90% of adults with disabilities participants will develop their skills in poetry, story-telling, musical interactions, painting, and/or dance. Merrick and the partnering arts organization (Upstream Arts) will conduct a pre- and post-program survey with participants and/or their support teams to measure change in skills and willingness to try new art activities during the program. 2: 90% of adults with disabilities participants will gain confidence and comfort in expressing themselves through the arts.
