Project Details

Avenues for Homeless Youth will create a variety of arts experiences for the youth living at its two shelters, empowering youth with a platform for self-expression.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Arts programming will help youth build a positive sense of self, critical thinking skills, and meet their goal plans. Outcomes will be evaluated by documenting the events and the engagement of the participants. A year end event will be held to showcase the youths' work. 2: Participants will participate in workshops and events held will increase their knowledge of traditional and contemporary arts. Outcomes will be evaluated by tracking attendance and through listening sessions that gather information from participants on their increased awareness and knowledge.
