Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Partnerships are developed between social service organizations and arts organizations to better serve underserved communities. Social or human service organizations use arts to help achieve their service goals. Perceived or real barriers to participation are addressed.

Measurable Outcome(s)

This program brought the art and drumming to our home, making accessible to our seniors with disabilities, teaching them at their level and ability. There is nothing else like this in our community available to our population. This opened doors for us that we would never have had possible previously.  2: Integrating the community within our home and working together for a common goal was paramount to this project. Having skills brought to our residents from outside sources raised the quality of life programming and enhanced many avenues of their daily life. Relationships were built and weekly notes taken on the interactions of the members, socially and cognitively after each session.
