Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Through this project, I will gain new information on mold making and wild clay characteristics and limitations. The outcomes will help me make better decisions on firing and making molds for better functionality. The outcomes will be measured by the wild clays I use, the different objects from the quarry that I make the molds from and the wood and gas kiln firing processes. I will also document the project with photos as things progress.

Measurable Outcome(s)

During my grant period I used molds from the mining industry and I also salvaged about 200 molds that were going to be thrown out and focused on finding new life in the discarded molds. I gas fired and wood fired the work to gather information about how to move forward with the new forms. Outcomes were evaluated by success of finished work.
