Polk Count Fair - the Fair is considering two iconic musical acts - The Woodpicks and Radio Stars. The Woodpicks present blue grass music while the Radio Stars present olde time country western selections.
Therese Jacobson: visual artist, retired visual art teacher; Emily Kuzel: arts advocate, English second language and special needs teacher; Kate Mulvey: performing artist, English second language teacher; Jaimie Snowdon: Indian studies teacher, advocate for Native American arts; Deb Alexander, arts advocate; Mary Beth King: music teacher; Karlace Taylor: arts advocate, piano instructor; Mary Ann Laxen: visual artist; Sandy Zepeda: teacher, visual artist, advocate for Latino arts; Stephenie Anderson: textile artist; Wade Benson: actor; John Covlin: musician.

ACHF Arts Access
As a result of this program the Polk County Fair audience will enjoy the difference of two types of music - traditional country western and blue grass providing a greater awareness of each. Evaluation of the events will be conducted by the Polk County 4-H - an evaluation will be created and handed out during the performances. At the conclusion of the event the evaluations will be collected and reviewed.
