Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

This funding would keep the Edge Center administration budget stable even during such a fluid period. As soon as it is safe, the plan is to resume programming that resembles what we have done so well over the past 15 years. If the operating costs are protected by an operating support grant we can risk taking chances with programming expenses. Our mission is ?to enhance the Edge of the Wilderness by providing a welcoming and well-managed space where creating, enjoying, and sharing art experiences build community.? To achieve that, the goal is to figure out how to work safely in restoring the opportunities that the Edge normally brings to artists and audiences in the Edge of the Wilderness area. The purpose of the Edge Center is so tied to the SPACE that is has been difficult to envision ourselves going viral, but we are starting to imagine new ways to reach audiences who count on us to provide "arts that stimulate the thinking and emotions of the residents of Northern Minnesota.? We can measure outcomes by being able to pay the bills for major overhead expenses, such as insurance, accounting, equipment, office supplies, telecommunications, and payroll. This will make it possible to be able to safely resume our mission to the loyal volunteers, audiences, and artists when it is possible.
