Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

With the funding for year 2022, we want to reestablish TPWO's concert series and take steps for the Orchestra to rebuild/maintain the quality of its performances. With the pandemic, we expect some rebuilding in specific sections of the Orchestra because some musicians have moved on due to retirements, job relocations, health issues, and other changes in life. With a year and half of no performances, it is going to be a steep climb to return the Orchestra to its prior levels of performance. For this goal, our measurable outcome is: We perform concerts as planned: Winter (March 2022), Spring (May 2022), Fall (November 2022), and Christmas Holiday (December 2022). The other activity TPWO wants to pursue is to develop a Master Class program. Attempts to start the program in first year of funding were delayed due to the pandemic. For this goal, our measurable outcome is: TWPO initiates the Master Class program with one school. In reference to our first measurable goal, the most accurate sign of TPWO's success is its ability to retain and grow both our audience and orchestra membership. Board members and staff regularly discuss these numbers. Prior to the pandemic, audience numbers had been slowly increasing indicating that we are doing some of the right things for our constituents. With the setbacks of the pandemic, we will use the following measures: Attendance at concerts increases with each performance. Attendance at concerts is more than 50% of prior years' attendances. In reference to developing a Master Class program, our measurable outcome is to: Initiate a Master Class with one school and record a piece that is shared with the students.
