1. Pillsbury House Theatre and Pillsbury House Neighborhood Center infused arts into non-arts activities, providing 3,407 individuals with an arts experience as part of their regular interaction with their community center. Pillsbury House Theatre convened a group of partners to develop a shared Cultural Community Development Plan. Five of these partners secured ArtPlace funding to engage neighborhood artists to complete twenty placemaking projects. 2. Pillsbury House Theatre reached over 11,000 people through theatre programs (6,349 Mainstage, 2,585 Breaking Ice, 684 Chicago Avenue Project, and 353 Power of our Voices). Mainstage attendance increased by between 20-40% with various programs. Forty-four percent of mainstage attendees identified as low-income, and 37% were people of color. Throughout the year, between ten to thirty percent of youth in Pillsbury House Theatre programs have disabilities. Attendance by people who live in the neighborhood increased, from between five and thirteen percent, depending upon program. Evaluation used the number and depth of partnerships, number of arts infused projects, attendance records, levels of participation, and attendee demographics.
