ACHF Arts Access
Provide opportunities for patrons to draw connections between the art they experience at Theater Latté Da and their own lives. This supports the Minnesota State Arts Board's goal that Minnesotans believe the arts are vital to who we are. Outcomes: Theater Latté Da will increase the number of people our study guides reach from 1,500 to 5,000; increase the number of post-show discussions we offer from 20 to 32; increase the number of people who attend these discussions from 1,600 to 2,600; and create an online blog. Theater Latté Da used house reports and Web site analytics to evaluate outcomes. 2: Ensure we reach the widest possible audience by removing barriers to attendance. This supports the Minnesota State Arts Board's goal that people of all ages, ethnicities, and abilities participate in the arts. Outcomes: Theater Latté Da will reach 21,000 people through four mainstage productions with themes accessible to a variety of Minnesotans. We will increase the number of discounted or complimentary tickets we offer from 3,100 to 4,000 and the number of students we serve from 2,000 to 3,000. We will only perform in ADA compliant venues. Theater Latté Da used box office records to evaluate outcomes.
Theater Latté Da provided opportunities and tools for audiences to engage at a deeper level with Theater Latte Da productions. Theater Latté Da's play guides reached 2,915 people. Theater Latté Da's 28 post-show discussions engaged 2,546 patrons. 2: Theater Latté Da productions were accessible artistically, financially and physically. 1) Theater Latté Da produced four mainstage productions with varying themes including marriage, the desire to love and be loved, maintaining humanity in the face of conflict, racism and power, and society's perception of those with brain injuries. 2) Theater Latté Da provided 3,665 complimentary tickets (excluding students). 3) Theater Latte Da served 1,538 students through discounted or complimentary admission. 4) Theater Latté Da only performed in ADA compliant venues with accessible accommodations for mobility, visibility, and hearing impaired patrons. 5) Theater Latté Da provided one performance per production with ASL interpretation and audio-description services.
